Longtime JLL exec joins Fairfield-based Accordia as principal

Longtime JLL Executive Managing Director Frank Recine has joined Fairfield-based Accordia as principal, according to a Tuesday announcement.

One of the real estate industry’s most iconic brokers, Recine’s career spans over two decades. He is a prominent figure in the real estate community, consistently delivering transformative contributions as well as being recognized by various publications; he is regularly named an ROI Influencer.

Recine brings unparalleled expertise and a proven track record of success to his new role at Accordia.

During his tenure at JLL, he played a pivotal role in shaping markets all across the U.S. His strong background in transaction structures, lease negotiations and consulting services resulted in the successful negotiations of over 14 million square feet of space and over $3 billion in total lease transaction value.

Prior to joining JLL, Recine spent 13 years at Newmark, climbing the ranks to become the youngest principal in the firm. Over the span of his career, Recine handled many high-profile tenant representation assignments for some of the industry’s most iconic clients, including Ferrari North America, DHL, Gucci, Yang Ming Shipping, the RealReal, Fresenius Medical and WebMD, among others.

Recine also specialized in landlord representation, working on many high-profile agency repositionings and development projects across the state. Recine emphasized that the key to his success is the longstanding partnerships he has forged throughout his career.

“My mantra has always been to surround yourself with great people, who have passion for what they do, and great things will happen,” Recine said. “I have been blessed to have amazing partners throughout my tenure in brokerage.”

Recine was awarded his Juris Doctor from the Pace University School of Law and is a member of the bar in both New Jersey and New York.

He also co-founded GTL Construction of New Jersey in 2012. GTL is a general contractor specializing in interior and ground-up construction, which has completed a variety of high-profile commercial projects throughout the state.

Jason Bogart, founding principal at Accordia, praised Recine’s appointment, stating, “Frank’s profound industry knowledge, reputation and remarkable ability to forge strong client relationships make him a perfect fit for Accordia as we look to expand our reach throughout the Northeast and the Sun Belt and deepen our market impact.

“His leadership qualities and strategic vision will be invaluable.”

Tim Greiner, executive managing director at JLL, also congratulated Recine on his new role, saying: “Frank and I have shared a remarkable 12-year journey together, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations to him as he embarks on a new chapter with Accordia. Frank’s unwavering dedication and expertise within our brokerage team at JLL was instrumental in our success. As he transitions to Accordia, I have no doubt that he will bring his exceptional skills and industry knowledge to help lead their growth and development.”

Bogart added: “As Accordia continues to focus on strategic expansion and rebranding, Frank’s expertise will be crucial in steering our company’s efforts in these areas. His role will involve leading initiatives that align with Accordia’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and superior investment performance.”
