Levin appoints Marolakos as leasing/investment sales rep

North Plainfield-based Levin Management Corp. on Tuesday said Christian Marolakos has joined the firm as a leasing and investment sales representative. The New Jersey native and resident brings a strong track record of experience to Levin; his diversified background includes landlord and tenant representation, acquisition/disposition, investment sales and property valuation services.

In his new role, Marolakos is responsible for leasing and marketing efforts at several New Jersey shopping centers within LMC’s leasing and management portfolio. These include CVS Center in Montvale, Rutgers Plaza in Franklin Township, Bordentown Plaza in Bordentown, Stafford Park Shopping Center in Manahawkin, Aldrich Plaza in Howell, Chatham Plaza in Chatham and Route 9 Plaza in Old Bridge, among others.

Acquisition and disposition consulting also represents a notable component of LMC’s vertically integrated, in-house services. Marolakos is a seller’s and buyer’s agent for retail, multifamily and mixed-use assets. In this capacity, he will expand LMC’s involvement in commercial real estate investment sales.

“Christian brings a very distinct skillset within both leasing and investment sales, and we are pleased to welcome him to the Levin team,” Sidney Singer, vice president of leasing, said. “We’re confident that his market knowledge, strong industry relationships and expertise across multiple areas of commercial real estate will add incredible value — and opportunity — for our clients.”

Marolakos has brokered millions of dollars’ worth of leasing and sales transactions to date. He previously held positions with RIPCO Real Estate, Marcus & Millichap and the Goldstein Group. He is a licensed New Jersey real estate salesperson and a member of ICSC.
