H Mart’s signature food hall and 11 unique dining options coming to American Dream

H Mart, the nation’s leading Asian supermarket, will open its food hall at American Dream mall in East Rutherford later this spring. At 16,860 square feet, this new addition showcases H Mart’s commitment to innovation, offering customers a truly different dining experience within a vibrant and dynamic setting.

H Mart has long been recognized as a leading Asian American supermarket chain, offering a wide range of essential grocery goods and entertainment. The implementation of a food hall at American Dream further expands the brand’s commitment to providing customers with a holistic experience, combining shopping, dining and entertainment all under one roof.

The H Mart food hall at American Dream will allow visitors to indulge in a diverse range of culinary delights, each meticulously prepared with the freshest ingredients and authentic flavors. From Korean cuisine at Sang’s Tofu & Grill to experiencing the bold and innovative flavors at K-Town Hero by Hooni Kim, the food hall presents an enticing assortment of dishes that will leave taste buds craving for more.

  • K-Town Hero: Crafted by Michelin-star Chef Hooni Kim (owner of Danji in New York City), featuring savory bulgogi beef brisket, fried chicken and gochujang pork belly;
  • The Bao: Specializing in Dim Sum, noodles and soup dumplings;
  • Sang’s Tofu & Grill: Offering traditional Korean food from the renowned founder of Midori Sushi, Food Avenue and Sang’s Kitchen;
  • Gold Miss: Indulge in delicious donuts, hot dogs, ice cream, frozen yogurt and slush drinks;
  • Gong Cha: Savor premium tea, bubble tea and coffee made from the freshest milk and highest quality ingredients;
  • BBQ Chicken: Exquisite fried chicken — crispier, juicier and more tender — with a variety of flavorful sauces;
