DLA hires Jeffrey Szafran as partner in Forensics, Valuation and Litigation Support Group

DLA, the Fairfield-based advisory and compliance service provider, on Wednesday said Jeffrey Szafran has joined as partner, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to expanding its Forensics, Valuation and Litigation Support Group.

Szafran has a proven track record in providing strategic financial insights and expert guidance, which DLA said will significantly strengthen its ability to deliver comprehensive solutions and exceptional service to its clients.

With over three decades of experience, Szafran brings a wealth of expertise to his role, having served in various senior positions, including partner at RSM LLC, managing director at Alvarez & Marsal LLC and partner at Floyd Advisory LLC. His background aligns seamlessly with the strategic direction of DLA’s FVLS Group, focusing on providing specialized services in forensic accounting, financial analysis and strategic advisory.

Szafran’s recent tenure running his own practice in Boston showcased his specialization in dissecting financial complexities, resolving business disputes and providing insightful financial reporting. His track record includes providing testimony and advisory services in numerous high-stakes business matters and leading internal investigations for public registrants, addressing a wide spectrum of accounting and financial reporting issues.
