Lisa Franconeri has been named CEO of Haven Savings Bank, the Hoboken-based bank recently announced.
The promotion will take effect Jan. 1, 2025.
The announcement was one of three high-level moves, including:
- Paul Deponte, the former chief financial officer, will now serve as the bank’s chief operating officer;
- John Wessling, the former president, will continue in his role as chairman of the board.
Franconeri began her tenure with Haven Savings Bank nearly four decades ago, steadily climbing the executive ranks. Bank officials praised Franconeri for her skills in lending, portfolio management, Community Reinvestment Act practices, budgeting, marketing and strategic planning.
Deponte joined Haven Savings Bank in 1989 and similarly has enjoyed an upwardly mobile tenure. He served as the bank’s CFO for more than seven years prior to being named COO.
