Valley Health moves its hospital-based cardiovascular services to one location

Valley Health System said it recently assembled the finest minds in cardiac care together under one roof. A comprehensive suite of hospital-based cardiovascular services is now located on the sixth and seventh floors of the north tower of Valley’s Medical Arts Pavilion, located at 140 E. Ridgewood Ave. in Paramus.

The hospital-based cardiovascular services available include:

  • The electrophysiology team from the Snyder Center for Comprehensive Atrial Fibrillation;
  • The cardiovascular surgery team;
  • Structural heart specialists;
  • Interventional cardiologists; and
  • Heart failure specialists from the Center for Comprehensive Heart Failure Care.

Valley’s cardiac rehab program is also on-site to support and educate patients recovering from a major cardiac event.

“This move was designed to streamline our services, enhance patient care, and create a central location for our multidisciplinary team to collaborate,” Dr. Suneet Mittal, director of electrophysiology at the Valley Hospital, medical director of the Snyder Center for Comprehensive Atrial Fibrillation at the Valley Hospital and chair of the Cardiovascular Service Line for Valley Health System, said. “We look forward to continuing to provide high-quality cardiac care to our patients, but in one prime location.”

This pavilion — now home to hospital-based cardiovascular services — hosts a wide array of specialty services, including many services for women and children, and those seeking the highest quality heart or digestive system care.
