The Association for Corporate Growth’s New Jersey Chapter held its ninth annual Corporate Growth Conference and Awards recently at the Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset.
Each year in the fall, ACG N.J. issues a call for nominations for its annual awards, which recognize companies with annual revenues between $5 million and $500 million that exemplify innovation, excellence and corporate growth.
Hoyt Jones, president of Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems, accepted one award on behalf of Point Pleasant-based Jersey Mike’s Subs, one of the nation’s leading sub sandwich franchises, chosen for its innovative strategies, nurturing a culture that encourages continuous excellence, community involvement and demonstrating sustained growth as a result of these efforts
Jones was joined by Anthony Russo, president of the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, as well as seven New Jersey-based middle-market companies that were chosen to receive an award. At the event, each of these leaders shared their insights and real-life experiences to a packed room.
Other award recipients include:
- 911inform: Ivo Allen, founder and CEO;
- CONTROLTEK: Tom Meehan, president;
- FreezPak Logistics: Dave Saoud and Mike Saoud, co-founders and co-CEOs;
- Hetherington Group: Cynthia Hetherington, founder and CEO;
- Integris: Rashaad Bajwa, CEO;
- Opal Energy Group: Kyle Shroufe, founding partner and CEO;
- Princeton Longevity Center: Dr. David Fein, medical director and CEO.
“Annually, the awards program draws nominations from some of New Jersey’s most notable companies, from those with long records of achievement to firms rapidly rising in the marketplace,” M.J. Jolda, president of ACG N.J. and principal and chief marketing officer, CMO + Co., said.
“The Selection Committee had a very difficult decision to make this year with all the exceptional, high-quality firms that participated in the nominations process,” Christian Amato, chair of ACG N.J.’s Corporate Growth Conference & Awards and president of CMA, said. “We are looking forward to another challenging time when we select our 2025 honorees.”
