CBRE completes leasing at recently renovated Country Plaza in Middletown

Ideal Tile joins Mexican restaurant Casa Calaveras, SportsCare Physical Therapy,  Urgent Paws Vet Clinic, Haus of Nails and the Bagel Nook

Country Plaza in Middletown has reached 100% occupancy, with Ideal Tile committing to a retail space at the plaza located at 1860-1876 Route 35, according to a Friday statement from CBRE.

The CBRE team of John Hanlon and Nicole Nannola spearheaded the leasing campaign for the shopping center and represented the ownership, 5 S Realty.

“We are excited to announce that, with the most recent lease to Ideal Tile, Country Plaza has reached 100% occupancy,” Nannola said. “Since taking the assignment to market, which had just one tenant occupying 1,689 square feet, our team was able to attract a number of well-known regional and local retailers. In addition, ownership made a significant capital investment to update and renovate the plaza to meet the needs of its tenants.”

In addition to Ideal Tile, which inked a nearly 2,000-square-foot retail lease, other tenants include Casa Calaveras (6,320 square feet); SportsCare Physical Therapy (4,414 square feet); Urgent Paws Vet Clinic (3,039 square feet); Haus of Nails (1,568 square feet); and the Bagel Nook (2,392 square feet).

Country Plaza consists of two free-standing retail buildings totaling 21,377 square feet. The center is easily accessible by Route 35 and Cherry Tree Lane and renovations to the exterior were completed in the first quarter of 2023.

The CBRE team is currently marketing a pad site at the center that can accommodate a 2,500-square-foot freestanding building with a drive-thru.
