Alfred Sanzari Enterprises on Tuesday said it hired Christopher DeLorenzo as vice president and director of leasing and marketing.
DeLorenzo brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience to his new role with Sanzari Enterprises. In his new role, DeLorenzo will guide the firm’s leasing and marketing strategy across its 6 million-square-foot northern New Jersey commercial portfolio.
Working closely with CEO David Sanzari and President Ryan Sanzari, as well as Manager of Leasing and Marketing Carolina Gutierrez, DeLorenzo will use his experience and leadership to support the firm’s long-term ownership strategy through maintaining high occupancy across its office, industrial, retail and medical office properties.
“Since my grandfather negotiated his first commercial lease, we have taken great pride in our relationships with our tenants and the brokerage community,” Ryan Sanzari, said. “Chris’s extensive industry experience and hands-on approach make him the ideal person to build on our seven-plus decades of leasing success. We are excited to welcome him to the Alfred Sanzari Enterprises family and look forward to his achievements in the coming years.”
DeLorenzo joins Alfred Sanzari Enterprises from the Birch Group, where he served as executive vice president overseeing leasing, asset management and operations across the company’s 6.5-million-square-foot portfolio of top-tier assets. Prior to the Birch Group, DeLorenzo also held the position of EVP for JLL’s New Jersey office. Before JLL, he also worked as EVP for Mack-Cali Realty Corp., where he was responsible for leasing and asset management activities for its 26.2 million-square-foot portfolio and was involved in over 1,500 transactions totaling more than $2.5 billion.
