Dog boarding and day care company sees record growth

K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel, a Fanwood-based boarding and dog day care franchise, said it has achieved record growth at midyear, with 16 new licenses sold, a $10 million investment and an increase in year-over-year average unit volume.

The company said in a news release that the pet industry’s upward trajectory could lead to a doubling of location openings for the year, compared with 2023.

It added that strategic partnerships with experienced, multiunit franchisees are fueling growth, bolstered by the investment from Partners Pacific Resorts LLC, which purchased the rights to open 30 locations.
