Nothing Bundt Cakes set to join St. Georges Crossing in Woodbridge

Nothing Bundt Cakes, a national specialty cake company, will open a new location at St. Georges Crossing in Woodbridge, according to a Tuesday announcement from Levin Management Corp. The Middlesex County location will expand the popular bakery concept’s growing brick-and-mortar footprint and bring a new retail category to the 343,000-square-foot community shopping center; the lease marks the second LMC transaction with the fast-growing chain.

LMC serves as leasing and managing agent for St. Georges Crossing, which sits at the intersection of heavily traveled Route 1&9 and Route 35. LMC Senior Leasing Representative E.J. Moawad arranged the Nothing Bundt Cakes lease on behalf of the landlord; Jamie Sackeim of TSCG, the Shopping Center Group, represented the tenant.

Nothing Bundt Cakes’ Woodbridge location will feature handcrafted bundt cakes in a variety of flavors and sizes, personal-sized Bundtlets and cupcake-sized Bundtinis, according to Hansraj Agrawal, a well-established restaurant business operator and owner of the St. Georges Crossing shop. Nothing Bundt Cakes also sells retail items, including party supplies, décor and gifts.

“There’s nothing else quite like Nothing Bundt Cakes,” Agrawal noted. “We are very excited to introduce this unique bakery concept to the community and are committed to bringing great cakes — along with an exceptional customer service experience — to our guests.” Agrawal said he was drawn to St. Georges Crossing’s complementary tenant mix, prime location and strong regional demographics.

Founded in 1997, Dallas-based Nothing Bundt Cakes has locations in more than 40 states and Canada. The chain recently opened its 600th bakery, with plans to reach 1,000 locations by 2027.

Anchored by a high-volume ShopRite, St. Georges Crossing boasts a tenant mix that includes T.J. Maxx, Pet Smart, West Marine, KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot (coming soon), Ulta Beauty, AutoZone, House of Wine & Liquor, Comcast Xfinity, European Wax Center, Visionworks, Verizon, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Taco Bell and Jersey Mike’s, among others.
