PJW Restaurant Group names new CEO

PJW Restaurant Group, a privately-owned restaurant group in the Delaware Valley, announced Jessica Breslow as its new CEO. Breslow previously served as chief operating officer for the last three years and led marketing and technology for the company since 2016. She succeeds hospitality veteran Jim Fris, whose retirement comes after more than 20 years with the group.

“I have every confidence in Jessica’s leadership, enthusiasm, experience and energy to continue forward for a seamless transition,” said Fris, who will remain close as a board adviser. “I am proud of what we’ve accomplished together and excited to see what comes next.”

Throughout Breslow’s tenure, Westmont-based PJW Restaurant Group has successfully executed its strategic growth plan, adding 13 new locations and nearly doubling sales. Her proven cross-functional leadership was vital for executing key initiatives to implement systems and technology, leverage data and analytics, and build the PJW team. She helped innovate the guest experience and set the stage for strong, accelerated growth.

“I feel incredibly honored and humbled to step into the role of CEO at PJW Restaurant Group and lead this incredible team,” Breslow said. “Our restaurants are great because the people who work in them are great. They are extremely passionate about what they do and work hard to keep raising the bar — while having fun doing it. That translates to an even brighter future for our company — one I’m eager to lead.”

Before PJW Restaurant Group, Breslow was an associate vice president at Aramark, where she helped define the national food service and hospitality giant’s marketing and operations strategies for its then $3.5 billion education sectors. Additionally, she built a national dining program and was responsible for consumer promotions and field-based training. Earlier in her career, she was with Ford Motor Co. in various dealer operations and customer service roles. Breslow has nearly 25 years combined of hospitality and leadership experience. She is an alumna of Seton Hall University and holds an MBA from The Pennsylvania State University.
