RIPCO Real Estate has leased the ground floor space at 800 Jackson Street in Hoboken. The 4,585-square-foot space features outdoor seating that will house the new BYRD restaurant — the sister restaurant to the famous New Jersey spot Common Lot.
RIPCO’s Deborah Stone represented the landlord in this placement.
Following years of challenges filling this space and a revolving door of struggling restaurants, the landlord hired Stone and RIPCO to secure a tenant who would flourish. The BYRD is the perfect fit and is set to rejuvenate the space, having completed extensive cosmetic renovations and secured a liquor license.
“BYRD is the prime tenant for this space; with its stylish decor, excellent food, and casual atmosphere, it promises to be a hub for the neighborhood and its families. BYRD is the ideal operator to join the neighborhood, bringing years of experience and a commitment to the communities that they inhabit that ensure its success,” Stone said.
BYRD is now open. The restaurant joins the recent additions of Gotan Café, StretchLabs, and Body Fit Training at 770 Jackson Street as this neighborhood continues to evolve and grow to meet its residents’ needs.
