International Process Plants, a global leader in the purchase, sale and redeployment of used and new process plants, industrial sites and process equipment, launched a new website Wednesday as part of a larger rebranding campaign for the Princeton Junction-based company: internationalprocessplants.com.
Company officials said the fully responsive website will provide a seamless experience across mobile and tablet devices, enabling users to efficiently browse and acquire high-quality equipment and process plants.
The URL and site replace IPP’s old home, ippe.com.
The website’s design and advanced search functionality aims to allow clients to quickly locate specific equipment, systems and process plants from IPP’s vast inventory. With 18 complete plant sites, 110 complete systems and 15,000 pieces of equipment available, IPP offers an unparalleled selection of assets for industries seeking to expand their manufacturing capacity or divest idled assets.
Vice President Ross Gale applauded the launch.
“Our new slate of custom technologies reflects our commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction and taking our industry into the digital age,” he said. “And, by better integrating our website with our new attribute-based inventory management system, we’ve created a one-stop shop for customers to explore our extensive catalog.
“Our goal was to make searching for process equipment and plants online similar to shopping on your favorite e-commerce site, while streamlining the process for collecting data for our colleagues.”
Gale said the new site also shows the company’s commitment to the planet.
“We wanted to use the new website to highlight the benefits of turning to IPP when divesting idled plants, systems and equipment,” he said. “IPP has a rich track record of being an environmentally and socially responsible partner for easier, faster and more cost-effective divestments to enable owners to focus on their ongoing businesses.”
The website is one of several recent branding updates from the company.
IPP has made a renewed commitment to telling its unique company story and value proposition for buyers, sellers and communities across its media channels, Gale said. All efforts are aimed at reflecting the company’s mission, values and efforts to find the perfect solution for partners and the communities their industrial sites have served.
About IPP
Princeton Junction-based International Process Plants is a global leader in the purchase, sale and redeployment of used and new process plants and equipment. It has operations in 15 countries. Its focus industries include: chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, fine/specialty chemical, agrichemical/fertilizers, plastics/polymers, steel, oil/gas, food processing, power generation, paper and metals processing/refining industries.
“We’ve been in business 46 years and have over 160,000 customer relationships,” Gale said. “Those customers all know who we are and what we will do. For example, they know if they need something and we don’t have it, we will find it for them. We want to make sure we’re telling that story every day around the world to grow our customer base and bring light to the great work our team does globally in creating a sustainable lifecycle for manufacturing assets.”
The branding improvements are part of what has been a transformative year for IPP.
The company earlier this year launched Gale Process Solutions, which manufactures new, typically long-lead process equipment. IPP also made several strategic acquisitions and deals this year, notably buying a former Novartis API pharmaceutical plant in the U.K., a biochemical plant in the U.S. and three plants from BASF in Germany.
