CarePoint CEO Moulick plays key role at first-ever American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin World Health Congress

Dr. Achintya Moulick, CEO of CarePoint Health, said he was honored to moderate a panel recently at the first-ever American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin World Health Congress in New York City.

Moulick was joined on the panel by a distinguished selection of executives representing a diverse array of health care and related organizations, as well as by New York Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar, who provided her perspective on how government can partner with CEOs to deliver for communities.

More than 1,500 influential health care and business leaders from throughout the globe attended.

“Moderating the CEO Forum was a true honor, and I am immensely proud that we were able to produce such a thought-provoking, engaging conversation between many of the foremost leaders in our industry,” Moulick said.

“When innovative leaders gather together and take on the unique challenges facing the health care industry, we can see the incredible value of collaboration in pointing the way towards a healthier, more equitable future.”

In addition to moderating the CEO Panel, Moulick also served as chairman of the World Health Congress and played a major role in planning and executing the highly successful event.

Additional panels were held on a variety of topics, including Innovation and AI, and the event also featured Continuing Medical Education sessions with an overall goal of uniting health care providers, entrepreneurs, financial bodies and policymakers to pave the way for future global health.

Justin Drew, CarePoint’s chief of staff and vice president of marketing, strategy and patient experience, said the event meant a lot to the system.

“CarePoint Health was proud to support this transformative event and play a key role in its overwhelming success,” he said. “Not only did the World Health Congress offer an opportunity for best-in-class physicians, surgeons, business leaders and more to share their experiences and ideas, it also provided invaluable insight to the next generation of health care professionals who will now take the knowledge they gained back to their communities in the service of their patients.”
