Liquor store to open 4,700 sq. ft. location in Montvale

Montvale Liquors will open a 4,700-square-foot store at CVS Center on South Kinderkamack Road in Montvale, commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corp. announced Wednesday.

Levin secured the commitment as leasing and managing agent for the 32,000-square-foot center in Bergen County.

A boutique liquor store, Montvale Liquors pitches that it offers friendly service along with world-class wine, spirits and craft beer at competitive pricing. Bipin Patel and Heerak Amin are the owner/operator team behind this new venture; Patel has more than 20 years of experience in the liquor industry.

The CVS-anchored property, which also includes an Italian restaurant, has long included a liquor store component. Montvale Liquors will be about double the size of its predecessor.

“From a standpoint of visibility and demographics, this location is a great place to do business,” Sidney Singer, LMC’s vice president of leasing, said. “Local residents have appreciated the presence of a liquor store at the property, and this new shop will offer a larger and more robust selection of products.”

CVS Center is located just one mile from downtown Park Ridge, and is proximate to public transportation, the Garden State Parkway and other major regional thoroughfares. More than 63,000 people with an average household income exceeding $229,000 live within three miles of the property.

LMC is marketing an immediate availability of 2,400 square feet at CVS Center.
