Sheldon Gross Realty Executive Vice Presidents Barbara Gross and Bob Nathin recently brokered the fourth and fifth transactions for Evergreen Theragnostics, a radiopharmaceutical company in Springfield.
Since its 2019 founding, Evergreen’s founder, James Cook, has facilitated the quickly growing company’s expansion into two additional Springfield buildings on Commerce Drive.
These properties are in close proximity to Evergreen’s headquarters, which Cook’s company has owned since Gross and Nathin negotiated the purchase of the property on which the headquarters and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility were built.
“Each time we’ve needed space, often on a tight deadline, Barbara and Bob were able to provide us with input on appropriate properties – including some that hadn’t been marketed publicly,” Cook explains. “They understand our requirements, and always have their finger on the pulse of the market.”
Prior to founding Evergreen Theragnostics, Cook was COO of a Europe-based radiopharmaceutical company – and Gross and Nathin managed his commercial real estate needs in New Jersey. They coordinated the purchase of a 15,000-square-foot building in Millburn that became the US headquarters and a manufacturing facility for Cook’s former employer. Then, just a few years later, Gross and Nathin negotiated the purchase of an adjacent office building to accommodate the rapid growth of that company, which has since been acquired by Novartis Pharmaceuticals.
“The pharmaceutical industry is a key economic driver throughout New Jersey, and radiopharmaceuticals are a quickly growing segment of the industry,” Gross said. “We’ve enjoyed our long relationship with James and are looking forward to this next chapter as he grows his company in this important pharma sector.”
