Valley Medical Group in Paramus on Thursday said it promoted Dr. Michael Rahmin to the position of director of gastroenterology.
In his new role, Rahmin will support the operations of gastroenterology care offered through Valley Medical Group. He will oversee and guide the strategic direction of the gastroenterology division, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice and implementation of best practices in clinical quality and safety.
Rahmin will leverage his clinical and operational experience to enhance and grow gastroenterology services at Valley.
Rahmin joined the Valley Hospital medical staff nearly three decades ago. In 2015, he joined Valley Medical Group. Rahmin has been an influential organization leader at Valley, growing Valley’s gastroenterology practice; assisting in the launch of ColigoCare; and serving in numerous leadership positions, including president of the Valley Hospital medical staff from 2014-16.
