Esports Innovation Center at Stockton names Archer partner David Weinstein as board chair

Archer & Greiner Partner David Weinstein has been appointed chairman of the board of directors for the Esports Innovation Center at Stockton University.

EIC, a nonprofit created through a partnership between the state of New Jersey and Stockton University, is dedicated to fostering and expanding the esports industry in the Atlantic City area through industry training and education, market expansion and community engagement and support. Weinstein, who has experience successfully navigating through complex business transactions across various industries, also serves as president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Esports Trade Association and dedicates a significant portion of his practice to the burgeoning esports sector.

The center is located on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City at Stockton’s Kesselman Hall.

Weinstein’s experience in esports law and regulations will be a significant asset to the board, ensuring that the EIC remains at the forefront of legal and ethical standards in the rapidly evolving esports landscape. His practice is focused on complex business transactions.

A significant portion of Weinstein’s practice is dedicated to representing clients in the esports industry, where he provides counsel on a variety of issues, including the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts; business structure planning and modeling; and merger & acquisitions transactions, such as asset purchases, stock purchases, joint ventures and strategic alliances.
