Ron Krauskopf of Provident Bank and Joseph Voytus of the borough of Montvale staff have been named as new board members for New Concepts for Living, one of the state’s top providers of community residences, day programs and therapeutic and behavioral services for adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Krauskopf has more than 20 years of commercial banking experience, primarily working to support health care and not-for-profit industries. He is currently head of commercial specialty lending at Provident Bank, overseeing a division that includes health care and not-for-profit, as well as asset-based lending, equipment finance, SBA, mortgage warehouse and insurance lending.
Voytus, an attorney, currently serves as the business administrator for Montvale. Before entering public service, Voytus spent 15 years in private practice and was a partner with Boggia, Boggia, Betesh and Voytus. His practice focused on municipal representation with primary or shared responsibility for day-to-day coordination with public officials in numerous municipalities, including Montvale, Ridgefield Park, Emerson and Edgewater.
New Concepts CEO Steve Setteducati was thrilled to make the announcement.
“As leaders in their respective fields, both professionals bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our agency,” he said. “We look forward to their contributions and expertise as we work diligently to expand our programs and provide high quality support and services for New Jersey’s I/DD community.”
New Concepts currently operates 18 community residences and recently opened a new 81,423-square-foot Achievement Center in Paramus, providing enriching day programs, life skills, recreational spaces, sensory rooms, health and wellness screenings and physical, occupational, behavioral and speech therapy. (It was featured in ROI-NJ here.) It will soon offer prevocational services as well.
Krauskopf said he is happy to join the team.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to assist some of the top health care providers in my 20-plus-year banking career, but I immediately knew that New Concepts for Living was special,” he said. “Commitment and compassion are prevalent throughout the organization, starting with executive leadership. Clients are embraced as family. The new Achievement Center in Paramus will enrich so many lives: it’s inspiring to be a small part of it.”
Voytus expressed his joy at servant leadership.
“At Boston College, we were taught to be ‘men and women for others,’” he said. “I can’t think of a better way to do that than through supporting and serving an incredible organization like New Concepts for Living.
“The organization’s mission to enhance the dignity and independence of adults with special needs is one that has particular importance to me and my family. I look forward to helping the organization further its impressive growth and the expansion of the services it offers.”
