The sale of a 49,172-square-foot flex/industrial asset in Somerset was orchestrated by Cushman & Wakefield, according to a Wednesday announcement.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrew Schwartz, Jordan Sobel, André Balthazard and Dan Bottiglieri represented the seller and procured the buyer in the transaction. The property was acquired by SL Industrial Partners, which is part of the Silverman Group family of companies.
Located at 28 Worlds Fair Drive and situated on 4.5 acres, the property features two dock side doors and 152 parking spaces. Originally designed as a light-manufacturing facility, the property was 40% leased at the time of sale to four tenants.
“The property’s location on Worlds Fair Drive, one of the primary business locations in Somerset, coupled with its flex-industrial capabilities, made it an attractive investment for SL Industrial Partners,” Sobel said.
“We are pleased to announce this new acquisition, which compliments SL Industrial Partners’ growing New Jersey industrial portfolio,” Blake Silverman, president of the Silverman Group, said.
