RxSource, a Canadian-headquartered leader in clinical trial supply services, announced Monday it is making a significant expansion of its U.S. operations — while staying in New Jersey.
The company, which provides global clinical trial sourcing, packaging and labeling, and storage and distribution services for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, is moving from its current site in Secaucus to a significantly larger 48,000-square-foot distribution facility in West Deptford — a move that creates numerous assembly, packaging and distribution jobs as part of a greater U.S. expansion.
In the coming weeks, RxSource will begin outfitting the West Deptford facility with advanced infrastructure, including a state-of-the-art air handling system and specialized cold chain packaging and labeling rooms. The new facility is projected to be fully operational by late in the year, with new job listings to be announced shortly.

The company, based in Richmond Hill, Ontario (part of the greater Toronto region), announced the move during Gov. Phil Murphy’s New Jersey-Canada Economic Mission trip, sponsored by Choose New Jersey.
Murphy obviously was thrilled.
“New Jersey’s thriving life sciences ecosystem remains an international leader through our collaboration with international partners, and Canada is no exception,” he said.
“The impact of new jobs in the industry will not only benefit the communities in West Deptford, but the international life sciences industry, as RxSource continues their critical work across New Jersey and the world.”
RxSource CEO Yussuf Goolam said the move is a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence — and New Jersey. The new facility in West Deptford will be seven times the size of the company’s current location.
“As we experience growing demand, we are excited to invest in a facility that aligns with our ambitious vision for the future,” he said. “This new space, bolstered by the dedication of our team, partners and stakeholders, will enable us to fulfill our mission of improving patients’ lives.”
Choose New Jersey CEO Wes Mathews said the announcement makes sense on numerous levels.
“We are so excited that RxSource is growing their footprint in New Jersey, bringing dozens of jobs to the state, as we strengthen our economic ties with Canada,” he said. “Choose New Jersey is thrilled to support the ongoing growth of our state’s top life sciences companies.”
Rhys Evans, the company’s senior vice president of global operations, indicated RxSource may have additional expansion plans.
“The launch of our new facility marks a pivotal moment for RxSource,” he said. “The upcoming fit-out will dramatically enhance our capacity with additional temperature-controlled services.
“Situated within a prime pharmaceutical and distribution hub, this facility offers unparalleled opportunities for future expansion, ensuring we are exceptionally well-positioned for continued growth.”
