In a continuation of its steady growth as one of the nation’s leading providers of primary care and specialty care, Summit Health opened a new facility in Fair Lawn this week — and will open another next month in Bridgewater, the organization announced.

On Monday, Summit Health opened a 78,000-plus-square-foot facility at 17-17 Route 208 in Fair Lawn.

On Oct. 21, Summit Health will begin seeing patients at another hub, at 630 Commons Way in Bridgewater, a location that features more than 34,000 square feet of state-of-the-art medical services.

The new facilities in Fair Lawn and Bridgewater bring together more than 60 primary care and specialty physicians in more than 20 areas of medicine. Patients will have access to new service lines, including dermatology, gastroenterology, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics and sports medicine, pain management, urology and more.

Fair Lawn features comprehensive surgical services for breast care, colorectal surgery, general surgery and plastic surgery. Bridgewater offers physical therapy services. A full laboratory will be located at both buildings and a cutting-edge imaging center will open in each hub soon.

Chris Sclafani, president of Summit Health and Starling Physicians, said the organization is thrilled to be able to expand its area of operations.

“With these two new multispecialty hubs, we can offer even more extensive services to the community members we already serve in Bergen and Somerset counties and welcome new patients who will now be able to come to us for the care they need,” he said. “Our care team meets patients wherever they are in their health care journey and helps them connect the dots between all their primary, specialty and urgent care needs. These new facilities will allow us to continue to care for and support our patients through a lifetime of connected care.”

The Fair Lawn hub offers primary care and specialty services, including allergy and immunology, audiology, breast care, colorectal surgery, dermatology, ear, nose, and throat, endocrinology, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic spine surgery, orthopedics and sports medicine, pain management, pediatrics and adolescent medicine, plastic surgery, podiatry and urology. A full laboratory is available on-site and imaging services, such as mammography, MRI and ultrasound, will also be available soon. Appointments in imaging will be offered seven days a week and are performed by state-licensed technologists and interpreted by fellowship-trained, board-certified radiologists with subspecialty training.

In addition to primary care, the Bridgewater hub offers specialty services including endocrinology, gastroenterology, orthopedics and sports medicine, pain management, podiatry and rheumatology. The site has a full laboratory and a suite dedicated to physical therapy services. Convenient imaging appointments will soon be available seven days a week for mammography, MRI and ultrasound.
