Jason Krane, senior development director at New Jersey LCV, has been chosen as the recipient of the Outstanding Nonprofit Advocate Award at the 2024 Excellence in Philanthropy Awards.
The award was presented during a special ceremony at the Orange Lawn Tennis Club in South Orange.
Krane’s work has included supporting legislative advocacy, driving systems change, fostering civic engagement, and grassroots advocacy, among other impactful contributions.
“Jason is incredibly deserving of this honor,” Ed Potosnak, executive director of New Jersey LCV, said. “His commitment to nonprofit advocacy and his leadership within New Jersey LCV are unmatched. Without the work of Jason and his team we couldn’t fund most of the important work we do for the environment for the people of New Jersey and future generations. It’s a proud moment to see one of the state’s leading fundraising professionals recognized for his hard work and dedication.”
The Outstanding Non-profit Advocate Award is given annually by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) to a New Jersey legislator, community group, or individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in advancing the work and mission of the nonprofit sector. The AFP promotes ethical fundraising practices for individuals and organizations that generate philanthropic support.
