Ware Malcomb, a Newark-based international design firm recently welcomed Banafsheh Soltani to the firm as studio manager, interior architecture & design. In her new role, Soltani will work with the firm’s Newark and Princeton teams to grow market share throughout the state.

With over a decade of experience in roles at large international design firms as well as operating her own firm, Soltani brings a wealth of expertise to Ware Malcomb. Her background includes design projects for various corporate clients, including financial, pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies. In addition to her work on behalf of clients, she is an active member of the design community and has served on the boards of American Institute of Architects (AIA), CoreNet New Jersey, International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and NAIOP New Jersey.
Soltani earned her bachelor’s degree in interior design and master’s degree in architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Her dedication to continuous learning is reflected in her dual role as an instructor and design professional. She is an adjunct design instructor at both NJIT and Kean University and has previously participated in the ACE (Architecture Construction Engineering) mentor programs.
As a co-chair of the CoreNet New Jersey Communications Committee, she has played a pivotal role in enhancing the chapter’s newsletter by incorporating diverse voices from across the industry. By including articles and studies from major organizations, she has helped provide members with curated resources.
In addition to her industry leadership positions, Soltani is a member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) New Jersey and National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) New Jersey.
