Marlton Square, a lifestyle and shopping destination for South Jersey and Philadelphia, just completed a significant renovation in response to a 16% increase in year-over-year shopper traffic.
This shopper increase, plus the renovations, have earned the center some weighty new tenants, including Drybar and Solidcore and Mexican restaurant Tacoria, which are planned to open this fall, and Federal Donuts, anticipated to open early in 2025.
The Trader Joe’s grocery-anchored shopping destination managed by Centennial has reasserted its status as a go-to shopping, dining and lifestyle hub in South Jersey with the completion of significant capital improvements.
Existing tenants have also remodeled, with T-Mobile and Turning Point renovating their interior spaces. Tenants opening earlier this year include J Suites, a luxurious beauty collective, and Alpha Fit Club, a strength and conditioning circuit training studio.
“Our mission is to create a premier shopping destination for all of South Jersey,” Anthony Palino, general manager, said. “Continued investments have proven to elevate the shopping experience with their favorite brands and trendy food options. With these improvements, we continue to create a strong sense of place for our local community and beyond.”
The 87,000-square-foot property recently completed a makeover that can be seen from Route 73 by its new monument signage and white vinyl perimeter fencing. Inside the center, patrons are greeted with new storefront benches, colorful Adirondack chairs, decorative pole and sconce fixtures, rooftop lighting, exterior music, a revitalized landscaping and a new patio coming at Tacoria.
“Today’s Marlton Square is a reflection of our commitment to providing a dynamic and inviting environment for our visitors,” Nikki Columbo, senior vice president, national leasing, at Centennial, said. “We’ve introduced a curated mix of retailers and services that meet the evolving needs of our growing community, and we’re excited to see how these changes continue to resonate with our customers.”
