Acrisure opens new office in Woodbridge to anchor Middlesex County presence

Fast-growing fintech Acrisure unveiled its newest and largest office in the New Jersey region, located at the Metrotop Plaza II in Woodbridge.

Acrisure held a ribbon-cutting that was attended by local leaders Michael Iannaconi, managing partner of Acrisure’s New Jersey region, and Gary Taffet, managing member of Acrisure’s New Jersey region. John McCormac, mayor of Woodbridge Township, Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-Woodbridge), Middlesex County Commissioner Charles Kenny and Middlesex County Commissioner Director Ronald G. Rios were also in attendance.

This new location combines talent and operations from seven Acrisure offices across Middlesex County under one roof to facilitate greater collaboration between regional leadership and provide more space to allow for future local hiring opportunities.

Led by Iannaconi, the new office will house more than 70 employees, including both client facing and operational leaders.

“Coming together under the same roof serves as both a physical and symbolic step in our continued growth and commitment to the region, as well as another important step forward for the Acrisure brand,” Iannaconi, said. “Together, we will continue to provide best-in-class financial services solutions to help New Jersey’s consumers and entrepreneurs grow and protect what matters most.”

Taffet added: “This opening represents a significant milestone for Acrisure and our ability to deliver the highest quality insurance consultancy and advice to our many clients. Woodbridge Township was indeed among our first marquis and longest-standing relationships. We are incredibly proud to expand our platform operations in this great community. With 800 trusted professionals throughout this state, our team is Jersey-strong and comprised of fintech and insurance experts who possess incredible depth, talent and knowledge to service our wide base of clients.”

Acrisure chose Middlesex County as a key office in the state given its prime location as both the innovation and education hub of New Jersey. Home to large corporations and universities, the area is at the intersection of economic growth and opportunity.
