Saying it provides easy access to the hospitals’ patient portal, providers, emergency department wait times and other important health information, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center launched a new mobile app, BNB Health.
CEO Deb Visconi said the app matches the vision and the values of the organization.
“Our mission at the Medical Center is to enhance community health and well-being by providing high-quality, compassionate care that is accessible to those in need,” she said. “Technology is a gateway and by launching this new mobile app, we are continuing to eliminate barriers to care while increasing access to essential health information that will benefit all those we serve.”
Bergen New Bridge, a clinical affiliate of Rutgers, is both the largest hospital and licensed nursing home in the state and the fourth largest, publicly owned hospital in the nation.
The 1,070-bed hospital is located at 230 East Ridgewood Avenue in Paramus.
BNB Health is a free mobile app available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
