Marcum names Fellon new managing partner as it prepares to move North Jersey office to Morristown

Jo Anna Fellon has been named the office managing partner for Marcum’s East Hanover office, effective Oct. 1, the firm announced.

The leadership change is part of a new chapter for the office, which is moving to a new location in Morristown.

Fellon, who has been with the firm for 14 years, is the national leader of Marcum’s Private Client Services practice. She has demonstrated a remarkable ability to craft innovative tax strategies, maximize philanthropic gifting, and manage wealth transfers for clients. Her experience extends to exploring alternative investments and restructuring family offices for enhanced efficiency. Additionally, she is a respected educator, having led numerous internal and external technical tax seminars.

“I am thrilled to take on this additional leadership role at Marcum as we establish our new roots in Morristown next month,” she said. “With the accounting profession continuously evolving, I’ll eagerly collaborate with my colleagues to usher in a new era of growth and opportunity for this office. I am excited to lead our talented team into the future and contribute to our ongoing success.”

Fallon is succeeding Chris Smith, who announced his retirement after 30 years in the accounting profession.
