How big is manufacturing in New Jersey? Consider this: The N.J. Manufacturing Extension Program needed to have three categories for ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ when it handed out awards last Friday before approximately 1,000 at iPlay America in Freehold.
The event, which brought together industry leaders, policymakers and manufacturing professionals, served as a platform to honor the remarkable achievements of New Jersey’s manufacturers who continue to drive economic growth and create job opportunities across the state.
NJ MEP CEO Peter Connolly said the awards are intended to celebrate the innovation, resilience and excellence of the manufacturing sector in the state.
“This year’s winners reflect the spirit of innovation and tenacity that defines New Jersey’s manufacturing industry,” he said. “Their contributions not only strengthen our state’s economy but also position New Jersey as a leader in advanced manufacturing.”
