Chef Vikas Deep Rathour appointed as culinary manager at The Imperia by Dhaba

The Imperia by Dhaba, a fine dining restaurant in Somerset recently announced that Chef Vikas Deep Rathour has been appointed as the new culinary manager.

Rathour, with over 23 years of experience, brings a passion for Indian cuisine and a track record of innovation that is expected to elevate the dining experience at The Imperia.

In his new role Rathour will oversee the culinary operations, lead a talented team of chefs, and spearhead the development of menus that blend authentic Indian flavors with modern twists. Guests can expect a dining experience that is innovative, refined, and rooted in the rich traditions of Indian cuisine, while maintaining the highest standards that The Imperia by Dhaba is known for.

Rathour previously served as Executive Chef at the Yellow Chilli in Johns Creek, Georgia. His ability to uphold the highest standards of culinary excellence solidified the restaurant’s success and reputation. Prior to this, Rathour served as culinary manager at Mehfil Restaurant in Asheville, North Carolina.

Other highlighted roles in Rathour’s career include esteemed roles at several five-star hotels in New Delhi, including The Lalit Hotel, Radisson Hotel, Claridges, and Crown Plaza.

Rathour’s experience extends beyond India, with international recognition in events hosted by prestigious embassies such as Britain, the United States, and Germany. His participation in these global events has positioned him as a true ambassador of Indian cuisine, showcasing his ability to blend tradition with modern culinary techniques.
