First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union to construct new financial center in Lehighton retail property

Larken Associates recently said it signed a 21,200-square-foot land lease with First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union (First Commonwealth) at Carbon Plaza located at 1241 Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East in Lehighton, Pa. First Commonwealth, a current tenant at Carbon Plaza, will construct a 2,600-square-foot financial center and move to the new space upon completion in Q2 2025.
Larken Associates was represented by Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Raider Realty, the firm’s in-house brokerage division, and First Commonwealth was represented by Derek Zerfass, senior vice president of Colliers, in the transaction.
With over $1.4B in assets, First Commonwealth is one of the most accomplished and preeminent credit unions serving Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The new Financial Center at Carbon Plaza will offer members a full suite of services powered by the latest technology and a dedicated team of member experience associates. The building will also feature a self-serve drive-thru lane for member use.
