Inserra Supermarkets will cut the ribbon on its latest store, The Fresh Grocer supermarket, which will be located in Fieldstone Plaza in Ringwood on Nov. 8.
Located at 130 Skyline Drive, the 31,000-square-foot store will offer fresh prepared foods, groceries and produce in a full-service supermarket format.
The Fresh Grocer banner is part of the retailer-owned supermarket cooperative Wakefern Food Corp. and the new store will provide a variety of fresh offerings including locally sourced produce, a full-service butcher with custom cut meat, from-scratch bakery and ready-made meals and to-go items — all designed to meet the needs of busy families and shoppers looking for quality and convenience. The store will also offer a wide selection of international products and cheeses, sushi and frozen, dairy and floral departments.
The Fresh Grocer of Fieldstone Plaza will be the first for Wakefern Member Inserra Supermarkets, which operates 23 ShopRites in New Jersey and New York, and two Price Rite Marketplace stores.
The family-owned and operated Inserra Supermarkets will open the store Nov. 8, in time for the holiday season, but will carry out an extensive renovation to modernize the space over the next year.
“We want to make sure the community has access to a full-service supermarket during the busiest time of year, so we are opening even as renovations of the space continue,” Chair and CEO Lawrence Inserra Jr. said.
“We are proud and excited to open The Fresh Grocer of Fieldstone Plaza, Ringwood, NJ. It has been an honor for our family to serve New Jersey shoppers since 1954, and this new store reflects our continued commitment to community. We welcome customers and thank them in advance for their patience as we continue to renovate the space to enhance the shopping experience.”
