A pair of nonprofits that are focused on military health care and quality of life launched the inaugural “Warrior Bike Tour” Oct. 19.
HeroCare Connect is a nonprofit comprised of two unaffiliated healthcare systems – Deborah Heart and Lung Center and Cooper University Health Care. The two have combined their long-time expertise in serving active-military personnel and veterans to provide them with a one-stop concierge service that can do everything from schedule doctor appointments, schedule rides, manage insurance coverage and claims.
The Military Support Alliance of New Jersey is an all-volunteer non-profit focused on programs that can improve the quality of life for active-military personnel, veterans and their families.
Fifty participants cycled the roads of bucolic Burlington County to raise money for programs that support our active-military personnel, our veterans and their families at Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst and other New Jersey military installations.
