The Glenpointe Marriott, located on the Glenpointe corporate campus in Teaneck, has long been known by the business community in the area and the region.
That community may want to take another look.
The 351-room full-service hotel recently went through a capital improvement project, as Alfred Sanzari Enterprises transformed the hotel’s 39,317-square-foot meeting and event space, seamlessly integrating natural elements inspired by the nearby Palisades Interstate Park with a sleek, contemporary design.
Managed by the Sanzari in-house construction management team, in collaboration with HotelStudio and Kimmerle Newman Architects, the project included the replacement of carpeting, wall coverings, paint and furniture throughout the 1st and 2nd-floor pre-function spaces, boardrooms and meeting rooms as well as the 1,200-person capacity ballroom. In addition, Sanzari collaborated with Soho Art Consulting to commission artwork from New Jersey artist Leena Joshi and others to complete the design transformation.
Sanzari President Ryan Sanzari said the updates should keep the property at the top of the priority list for the business community.
“Strategic, ongoing investments are central to our long-term ownership philosophy, ensuring our properties remain best-in-class,” he said. “These capital improvements underscore our dedication to further enhancing the Glenpointe campus, solidifying its status as northern New Jersey’s premier corporate destination.”
David Cirincione, market general manager of the Glenpointe Marriott, said he is eager to show off the property’s updates.
“Since its inception, the Glenpointe Marriott has proudly hosted events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings of 10 to large-scale events for nearly 1,000,” he said. “These investments will enable us to continue this tradition while offering an elevated hospitality experience that caters to the diverse needs of all our guests.”
The Glenpointe Marriott is one of three hotels on the Glenpointe live-work-stay corporate campus. Constructed in 2018, Glenpointe officials say the 350-room Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites dual-branded hotel bolstered the diverse hotel options available to guests looking for a premier hospitality experience in northern New Jersey.
In addition to a wide range of hotel offerings, the Glenpointe campus’ four interconnected office, amenity and hotel buildings feature 670,000 square feet of endlessly adaptable Class-A office space paired with an amenity package. The amenity package is highlighted by Marketplace, An Urban Eatery, a modern dining hall offering delicious, scratch-made, chef-prepared grab-n-go meals and made-to-order options as well as specialty items from local purveyors such as locally roasted coffee from Coffeecol and small-batch breads and pastries from Balthazar Bakery.
Beyond Marketplace, An Urban Eatery, the campus also features the 26,000-square-foot Glenpointe Fitness Center; The Green, a 22,000-square-foot multi-purpose outdoor amenity space; casual and fine dining options; an on-site full-service Starbucks; abundant covered parking and 24/7 security. Further enhancing the tenant experience is Glenpointe’s partnership with Better Spaces, a robust tenant engagement service that operates via The Pointe, an on-site community lounge, as well as virtually through the Better Spaces app, to offer tenants over 40 free programs and classes per week.
Glenpointe currently has a range of spaces available from 976 square feet up to 33,012 square feet.
