Emmy nominated, multimedia professional, Giovanna Aguilar has been named as the new director of communications for the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (SHCCNJ).
Aguilar, a seasoned storyteller, brings a wealth of experience in corporate communications and consulting with C-suite executives, entrepreneurs and nonprofits focused on initiatives driving social impact, entrepreneurship and economic growth.
“I have worked with Giovanna on several important projects and her professionalism always stood out. She always sticks to her moral compass and tells stories authentically. We are lucky to have her,” SHCCNJ President Carlos Medina said.
Her appointment marks a pivotal step in SHCCNJ’s mission to broaden its influence beyond New Jersey’s business community and authentically highlight the Chamber’s standing as one of the top 10 Hispanic Chambers in the U.S., as reflected by GuideStar’s nonprofit revenue data.
In her new role, Aguilar will share stories that celebrate members’ achievements as economic leaders and role models of resilience and innovation.
