Goodman completes 100K SF Carlstadt logistics center equipped with modern infrastructure

Goodman North America said it recently has completed the construction of Goodman Industrial Center Carlstadt II — a modern, sustainable logistics distribution center offering customers a last-mile supply chain solution to reach a population of more than 15 million in Central New Jersey and New York City.

The Northern New Jersey submarket is in high demand, with Goodman Industrial Center Carlstadt II offering a point of difference.

“The recent interest rate cut has ignited increased activity across the market, and with consumer demand rapidly intensifying, along with recent resolution of the Port strikes, speed to market has never been more critical,” Anthony Rozic, CEO of Goodman North America, said. “Our Carlstadt location is strategically positioned to meet this demand, providing our customers with an exceptional logistics center for fast delivery to the Tri-State market and beyond. We’re ready to help our customers capitalize on this momentum and support them in being a step ahead in meeting consumer expectations.”

Located at 333 Washington Ave., Carlstadt II has 13 dock doors with 40-foot internal clearance heights, which enhances supply chain efficiencies. The Center also includes sustainable design elements to be built to LEED Silver standards to meet expanding customer sustainability requirements.

Speaking to the Northern New Jersey market demand, Jeff Volpi, director of Cushman & Wakefield Supply Chain and Logistics, the listing broker representing Carlstadt II, said, “Customers in the North Jersey market are attracted to the newer Class A product such as Carlstadt II being offered by Goodman. This is evidenced by the increase in rents we have seen over the last year for this type of premium product, despite the vacancy rates across North Jersey. With its prime location and sustainability features, Goodman’s Carlstadt II is already generating significant enquiry.”
