Strohmeyer named new chair of Commerce & Industry Association

Vierheilig named vice chairman

Triangle Manufacturing CEO Dax Strohmeyer has been named the new chairman of the board of directors of the Commerce and Industry Association, effective Nov. 1, the group announced.

Strohmeyer succeeds outgoing chair Audrey Murphy of Hackensack Meridian Health, who completed her two-year term.

CIANJ also announced Kim Vierheilig of STV will serve as vice chair. Vierheilig has been on the executive board of directors and a member of CIANJ for many years.

CIANJ President Anthony Russo was excited to make the announcement.

“The mission of CIANJ, which is to advocate and promote the benefits of a free market economy, will continue to be at the forefront of everything we do,” he said.

“It is through the strength of our board of directors and our membership that New Jersey’s economy will continue to grow and thrive in an ever-increasing competitive environment, and we are fortunate to have great thought leaders and visionaries on our Board.

“We look forward to working with Dax in the years to come and thank Audrey for her service to the business community.”
