Englewood-based Sitex Group on Monday announced it elevated Jackson Kaplan from vice president to senior vice president. Kaplan will continue to lead the firm’s direct equity investments across Florida’s industrial markets, as well as Sitex’s debt investment platform.
“Jackson has been an integral member of our team since joining as an associate,” Zach McHugh, principal, said. “Beyond his primary investment responsibilities, Jackson has played a crucial role in portfolio and asset management and consistently demonstrates a commitment to Sitex’s success. We are excited for Jackson to continue contributing to the firm as we evolve and grow.”
Kaplan has been with Sitex since 2020. During his tenure, he has closed more than $1 billion in real estate transactions across 25 acquisitions, and over $500 million in bridge and permanent financing with a variety of lenders including banks, debt funds, insurance companies, and CMBS. Prior to joining Sitex, Jackson worked at North Park Ventures in Chicago where he evaluated more than 20.0 million square feet of opportunistic, value-add, and core-plus multi-family and mixed-use investments across the U.S.
