Camden Community Partnership awarded $7.5K grant from OceanFirst Foundation

Camden Community Partnership received a $7,500 grant from the OceanFirst Foundation which will support the community, social, and wellness initiatives that vastly improve the quality of life for Camden residents.

“We are truly grateful to the OceanFirst Foundation for their $7,500 grant,” CCP Co-chair and Camden Mayor Victor G. Carstarphen, said. “The support we receive from OceanFirst is vital to our mission and plays a crucial role in improving and enriching the lives of Camden residents. OceanFirst Foundation is a wonderful partner and we truly value their ongoing commitment to our community.”

The funds will allow CCP to utilize its technical expertise, process-oriented convening skills, and strong working relationships to implement resident-driven neighborhood plans in the City.

Consistent with the OceanFirst Foundation’s priorities of improving the quality of life for individuals and families, activities include, but not limited to, building/activating open spaces (with local arts and culture), improving roadways and infrastructure (to improve access and mobility), developing resilient pilot initiatives for flood-prone neighborhoods, and creating workforce pipelines for residents in the training and/or employment sector.
