Ocean State Job Lot recently celebrated the opening of its eighth store in New Jersey and second in Monmouth County.
Located at 2145 NJ Route 35 in Holmdel, the newest OSJL location breathes new life into the former Stein Mart space, offering 37,000 square feet of revitalized retail space and creating new job opportunities for the community.
To celebrate the event, Holmdel Deputy Mayor Brian Foster, Assemblyman Gerry Scharfenberger, Assemblywoman Victoria Flynn, and representatives from Ocean State Job Lot, including Regional Director James Hines, District Team Leader Amy Rotondo and Store Team Leader Jeff Greene, Store Team Leader.
As part of its commitment to the communities in which it does business, the OSJL Charitable Foundation donated 50 warm winter coats to American Legion Post 23 in Keyport to help underserved veterans and their families stay warm during the colder months.
The celebration also included complimentary beverages and donuts, an OSJL Tote Bag giveaway, caricature drawings for children, and free pictures with Santa. Job Lot Insiders that made a purchase during the event had the opportunity to win three giveaway items. DJs from WKMK 106.3 (Thunder 106 Country) were also on-hand for a live broadcast.
“We are so pleased to open our second store in Monmouth County,” Greene said. “We hope the Holmdel community will enjoy the new, bright shopping space, our incredible values, and constantly changing inventory.”
