Giving Tuesday: We present a few nonprofits worth noting — and invite you to add to the list

ROI-NJ has been committed to the nonprofit community since its founding. It’s the reason we have devoted a page in our print edition since the first edition in the fall of 2017 — and the reason we have produced numerous stories on the good work nonprofits do in our daily eblasts.

We love giving attention to organizations which are deserving of the spotlight. And to be honest, we’re hoping it will spur companies and individuals to donate their time and money in an effort to impact the communities in which they serve.

(See stories on New Concepts for Living, Wings for Growth, Holy Name, One Simple Wish Corporation for Public Media, Mental Health Association of New Jersey, Cento Amici and Tools & Tiaras here).

Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to help those who are helping others. And while we think this should be a 365-day endeavor, we note Giving Tuesday is a unique opportunity — one that provides a call to action.

We’ll list below a dozen or so nonprofits from around the state (and in alphabetical order) that we will feel are worthy of a look.

We encourage you to go on our LinkedIn posting (click here) and make pitches to other organizations you feel are worth supporting.
