Dan Johnson, account director at R&J Strategic Communications, was named to Somerset County Business Partnership’s (SCBP) 2024 Top 40 Under 40 at the SCBP Awards held on Dec. 9th at The Palace at Somerset Park.
The SCBP’s Top 40 Under 40 recognizes professionals, philanthropists, entrepreneurs and community leaders under 40 in Somerset County who demonstrated excellence in their jobs, families and communities over the past year.
Johnson leads the agency’s commercial real estate practice and serves as a trusted counselor to some of the region’s most prominent executives and businesses. His leadership and strategic thinking allow R&J Strategic Communications’ clients to embrace a mix of owned, earned, shared and paid communications tactics to capitalize on opportunities in a competitive and evolving market.

Beyond his work at R&J, Johnson also serves as the District Council Co-Chair for the Urban Land Institute of Northern New Jersey and is the PR/Social Media Co-Chair for the ULI NNJ District Council Advisory Board. In addition, he is closely involved with ULI NNJ’s Urban Plan program which provides students at East Brunswick High School and East Orange Campus High School the opportunity to learn about the fundamental aspects of real estate development through an engaging curriculum.
