First Environment, Inc., a Butler-based Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in environmental engineering and consulting, recently announced a mentor-protégé joint venture with Ohio-based CT Consultants, a Verdantas Company, a leading provider of engineering, architecture, planning, environmental, transportation and construction services.
The joint venture, administered and approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration, enhances both firms’ capabilities to deliver superior environmental and engineering solutions to federal clients. By combining First Environment’s expertise and CT Consultant’s expansive resources, the joint venture will strengthen services such as environmental planning, site investigation and restoration while extending geographic reach.
“We are thrilled to partner with CT Consultants in this mentor-protégé relationship,” Devin DeMarco, First Environment’s Market area director of Federal Programs, said. “This alliance enables our team to provide a broader scope of technical services across federal agencies, ensuring efficient and effective solutions for our clients. It’s a significant step toward expanding our impact, particularly in supporting environmental planning, site investigation and restoration projects.”
The two firms are currently working together on multidisciplined baseline environmental studies for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and are planning to expand its federal portfolio with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Navy, and Air Force.
