REDCOM celebrates groundbreaking of Front Street Housing in Scotch Plains

Westfield-based REDCOM Design and Construction recently celebrated the groundbreaking of its latest project on Front Street in Scotch Plains, commencing the start of new housing in the community.

The building will have three floors, the first dedicated to parking, and the second and third consisting of 42 apartments. The parking garage will feature electric vehicle charging stations to accommodate the needs of future residents. The 80,181-square-foot development is expected to be completed in approximately 18 months during the summer of 2026.

REDCOM’s CEO, Ryan Teicher, and SVP of Sales, Sam Rockaway, joined owner’s representative Michael and Kathy Ghabrial of K&M Facility Management and REDCOM team members for the groundbreaking.

“It is very rewarding to work with K&M and to leverage REDCOM’s decades of experience to create additional housing in our community,” Rockaway said.
