Otteaus announce plans to launch new commercial brokerage firm in 2025

Father-son team sold their interest in Hudson Atlantic Realty Advisors earlier this year

Jeffrey Otteau and Christopher Otteau announced Monday that – earlier this year – they sold their ownership interests in Hudson Atlantic Realty Advisors, a commercial real estate brokerage firm.

To be clear, both Otteaus will continue their leadership roles at Otteau Group, an iconic real estate valuation and advisory firm with a 48-year history of cutting-edge valuation, analytics and thought leadership. They are also planning the launch of their new venture, as the commercial brokerage arm of Otteau Group, in the coming months.

Hudson Atlantic, which was founded in 2021, has grown into a prominent player in the real estate industry, recognized for its expertise in investment property sales. Under their leadership, along with their partner Adam Zweibel, the firm completed numerous high-profile transactions, earning a reputation for excellence and innovation in the marketplace.

“It has been an incredible journey leading Hudson Atlantic Realty to the forefront of the commercial real estate industry,” Jeffrey Otteau said. “We are proud of what we accomplished and look forward to exploring new horizons.”

Jeffrey Otteau, a highly regarded real estate economist who served as the managing broker for the firm, has 48 years of experience in the real estate sector, and has been a trusted voice in real estate trend analysis, risk assessment and forecasting. His work at Hudson Atlantic Realty has been instrumental in shaping the firm’s strategic direction and market positioning.

Christopher Otteau, known for his expertise in real estate investment, valuation, and finance, played a pivotal role in building the firm’s underwriting modeling along with its relationships with developers, and financial institutions. His leadership helped to establish Hudson Atlantic Realty as a trusted partner for clients seeking investment and valuation guidance.

Both Otteaus recently were honored by ROI-NJ in its list of top real estate leaders in 2024.
