Operation Cookie Drop sends sweet treats to the dorm/barracks residents of JBMDL who are single, new to the military and probably experiencing their first holiday season away from home. A total of 800 gift sets were assembled. Each gift set included a cookie, cocoa, marshmallows, candy cane and homemade holiday card.
The JBMDL Spouses also hosted a “Cookies with Santa” party. Pictured here, left to right are Nicki Sales, second vice-president of the JBMDL Spouses Organization, Santa and Ms. Claus, and Samantha Struck, manager of the Spouses Organization’s thrift shop.
Santa and Ms. Claus help make Christmas memorable for a young guest. Santa and Ms. Claus are members of the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial Society 648 and have volunteered their time to our organization for the last 2 years.
