Toy industry veteran launches new company and content creation studio

Daniel Delapa, who has more than a decade of experience in the toy industry is taking his knowledge and passion into a new venture, Born to Play.

Led by DeLapa, who most recently served as president of Creative Kids, Born to Play looks to shake things up to “become a leader in the toy industry through never-before-seen product and video content.” To do that, the company tapped someone intimately familiar with the convergence of video and toys to serve as its Chief Content Officer and Partner: Blippi creator Stevin John.

Headquartered in Montvale, Born to Play will create product and content that provides incremental value to the nature of play for families around the world. Born To Play’s goal is to foster creativity through inventive, leading-edge toys in all categories alongside family video content that provides endless fun for consumers of all ages.

Our team will be bringing innovation and truly original IP to the global market,” Delapa said. “It’s a real thrill to partner with Stevin on this venture.
