Mt. Arlington tax advisory firm, Nisivoccia on Tuesday said it named Kristin Anderson as partner at the start of 2025.
With a career spanning nearly two decades, Anderson’s promotion reflects her contributions to the firm, as well as her extensive expertise in both audit and tax services.
Anderson began in the Tax Department of the international accounting firm Ernst & Young before joining Anderson & Company PC in 2008. In January 2016, she became a Partner at Anderson & Company, where she provided critical audit and tax services for a diverse clientele, including both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
After Anderson & Company merged with Nisivoccia in 2022, Anderson joined the firm as a principal, where she has since been instrumental in expanding the firm’s capabilities.
Anderson is widely recognized for her leadership and advocacy in the field of education for students with disabilities. As a long-standing and highly active member of ASAH—the Association for Approved Private Schools for Students with Disabilities (APSSDs)—she has worked diligently to support the mission of these schools.
Most notably, Anderson testified before the New Jersey Assembly Education Committee in
collaboration with ASAH to advocate for Senate Bill No. 2927, which protects APSSDs in certain regards related to independent audits. Her deep knowledge and dedication to this sector exemplify her commitment to making meaningful contributions to the community and advancing opportunities for vulnerable populations.
Anderson is a graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, where she earned a Bachelor of Administration with a concentration in accounting. She is a licensed CPA in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
