Atlantic City announced the launch of its Small Business Grant Program Thursday, a program that can give up to $10,000 to a selected business.
The program, funded by $133,000 from the city’s Community Development Block Grant CARES program, aims to provide critical working capital to small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Program Highlights:
- Grant Amount: Up to $10,000 per eligible business.
- Eligibility: Small businesses in Atlantic City, including retail, restaurants, entertainment, and nonprofessional services with no more than 10 employees as of Dec. 31, 2019.
- Use of Funds: Working capital expenses such as payroll, rent/mortgage, utilities, and advertising.
Applicants must meet the CDBG National Objective of benefiting low- and moderate-income individuals. Businesses must retain or rehire at least one permanent job to qualify. Applications will be accepted until April 1. They can be returned to edaou@triadincorporated.com.
